RALEIGH, NC, September 13, 2021 - - WETC-AM today announced that it will begin broadcasting The Catholic Current weekdays at 5:00 pm starting Monday, September 13th.

The Catholic Current, focuses on “Bringing Christ to the World and the World to Christ” through thought provoking conversations with guests on topics relating to current and historical issues, all from a Catholic perspective. Recent show topics included “Tools for Catholic Life”, “Misuse of Church Authority on Vaccination” and “Catholic Prophecy”.

Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., produces and hosts The Catholic Current. He is a member of the Maryland Province of the Society of Jesus. He has lectured worldwide on philosophy and theology. Fr. McTeigue is also a member of the National Ethics Committee of the Catholic Medical Association.

In its third year of production and heard on Catholic radio stations around the country, The Catholic Current is a production of Buffalo, NY- based Catholic media network The Station of the Cross.
